In the project we run analytical characterization work and practical testing in parallel to find out what characteristics are the most critical for a surface in close-to-road applications, e.g. the surface of an automotive coating, to achieve "easyclean" properties. In the methodology, we also take the durability of a possible easyclean effect into account. The effect has to be able to withstand the infuence of UV light and chemicals for isntance. In the analytical work, contact angle measurements, represented by the picture to the left, are of central importance.
